A great partnership

The UCT Knowledge Co-op works in partnership with communities to address development challenges and offer access to UCT’s skills, resources, and professional expertise.

Six final year Information Systems students have patiently, cheerfully and professionally introduced us to new concepts, disrupted our thinking, and taught invaluable tech skills, for free!

Four final year UCT Occupational Therapy (OT) students engage with our members to co-implement our strength-based philosophy whereby independence and meaningful occupation is encouraged and supported. Workshops and member surveys help identify needs and struggles. One-on-one and activity group designs assist the members in addressing these challenges. We are also lucky enough to host Physiotherapy students who ensure our members keep moving and address any challenges they may experience. We are so thankful for this valuable partnership.
