Members' news & a new vision
Updated: Sep 22
Through a partnership with the UCT Knowledge co-op, we received expert assistance from Sonia Malczyk, Registered Dietitian (RD) with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia in Canada. With her help, members were shown clever ways to reduce their monthly grocery bills and eat healthier tasty meals. This invaluable guidance, combined with our flourishing veggie garden, is a winning combination.
Our dearest and beloved Alistair Bobbert (resident volunteer and all-round great guy) took it upon himself to renew his driver’s licence. He first had to self-fund an eye test and get new glasses which he did with his personal savings. We are thrilled to report that he is now the proud owner of a renewed driver’s licence. Well done Alistair!
NOAH’s annual strategic planning took place at the beautiful Little Streams venue in Constantia over three enjoyable days. What made it so special was that every staff member was involved in evaluating the past and planning NOAH’s future as it reached its momentous 40th birthday.
Brilliantly facilitated by Elamanzi, our new vision will have a member-led approach where we are harness their gifts, talents and interests and creating programmes to support this!
